Once you have become a Lenguajero member you can look for conversation partners on your homepage or browse member profiles in our Community. To start a conversation with a member who is online click the 'Talk Now' button at the bottom of their profile.

You can also practice writing in the language you are learning and help correct other members' writings in our Writing Club, or study flashcards.

Conversations on Lenguajero use an integrated text, voice, and video player called TokBox to connect our users. The Tokbox player uses Adobe Flash. You must have Flash 9 or newer to use TokBox. Get the latest version of flash.

You don't need a microphone or video camera, but they will make your conversations more interesting. A head-set will also help you hear and sound clearer. 10 Ways To Improve Your Conversations.

Lenguajero uses TokBox, an integrated text, voice, and video player, to connect our users. TokBox should automatically detect your microphone and video camera settings. However, if you are having problems with either of these, visit TokBox's community based help site.

Lenguajero is a Spanish and English exchange community, and we are dedicated to helping learners of these two languages meet and have positive learning experiences. We are NOT a dating site. If you are looking for one go somewhere else!

We expect our members to be respectful of one another, and to avoid publishing inappropriate content such as hate speech, racism, or bigotry. Publishing of such content will result in immediate expulsion from our community.

We also expect our members to publish respectful profile photos. Nude or semi-nude photos are not permitted, and we will ask you to remove these photos. Also, WAY more people will talk to you if you have a shirt on!

First create a teacher account here. Then, there are two different ways that students can join your class.

You can invite students to sign up for your class by email.

1. Access your class page(s) by going to http://www.lenguajero.com/teacher-portal
2. Click on the name of the class you wish to add students to.
3. Click the 'Invite Students' link and copy and paste a list your students email addresses into the form.


Students can also sign up for your class on their own by following these instructions.

1. Go to Lenguajero.com
2. Click on the 'Student Sign Up' link at the bottom of the page
3. Select the appropriate school/class from the list and follow the instructions
