More Contest Info
You can enter the contest until midnight (PST) on April 16th, 2010. Throughout the following week, winners will be judged by Lenguajero and a panel of judges who are each passionate about online language learning and cultural exchange. Winners will be announced in early May, 2010.
The judges’ decision-making process will be influenced by the following factors:
- How clearly you present yourself and your subject matter. That is, how well you engage your audience, and how interesting do you make your material.
- The popularity of your entry based on number of popular votes received
- The quality of your audiocast
Voting will remain open until midnight (PST) on April 16th, at which point in time we will announce the Top Five Highest Vote Getters.
Winning Strategies
- Remember to speak a little bit slower and clearer than you normally do. The easier it is for your listeners to understand you the more likely they are to vote for you!
- Use Lenguajero’s Share This tool (located on your entry page) to get votes for your entry.
- Forward a link from your entry page to people you think are “influencers” and who would be helpful in spreading the word about your quest to be a winner.
- Become an active member in the Lenguajero community. Help other members with their Spanish or English, and get them (and their friends) to vote for you.
