Teaching English Abroad
Has anyone taught English abroad, know of any good opportunities to teach abroad, or looked into teaching abroad? I am a recent graduate and really want to improve my Spanish, but I can't find any programs that won't cost me an arm and a leg to teach!

Fácilmente puedes encontrar trabajo de profesora de inglés porque eres nativa del inglés y por lo tanto te van a preferir. Lo malo es que pagan muy poco. Lo bueno es que puedes aprovechar para perfeccionar tu español. Lo que tú necesitas es práctica real con hispanohablantes.

What are the costs that you're seeing? It's really normal to need to pay for the TESL course, but NOT normal to have to pay to teach :)
I taught in Thailand in the past. Right now I live in Oaxaca, MX. I've been approached in the street for teaching jobs (since I look like a native-English speaker). They don't pay that great but definitely enough to live here.
I think my advice is to find somewhere you want to live and then contact schools directly.
