Me voy a Salamanca a Salamanca este verano para estudiar español para dos semanas. ¿Cualquier sugerencia acerca de la ciudad o qué hacer?
Hi there, Diana.
I just saw that you haven't received any reply yet, so if it's not too late, I'd recommend you visit the websites http://www.salamanca.es/inicio.aspx and http://www.salamancaturistica.com/provincia/rutas.php Everything you may want to know is there.
Otherwise, I don't know what your tastes or interests are; but you cannot miss a proper walk around the university area (Casa de las Conchas, university buildings, the cathedrals, etc.). The nightlife may be a little quieter in the summertime, as it is very much a university town, but there will certainly be amusements for the day and the night as well.
There are also many beautiful small places near Salamanca that you may visit on weekends, such as Béjar, Ciudad Rodrigo or the Vía de la Plata route. You might even like to visit towns like Cáceres, Trujillo, Segovia... which are a little further away. But that of course depends on how much free time you will have :)
Well, I hope all this works :)
Cheers and... enjoy!
