Geography

 This was the practise task:

En tu clase de español vas a hablar sobre el tema: ¿Vacaciones en el mar o la montaña? Escribe el texto de la presentación. Menciona tu opinión personal, ventajas y disjantajas.

My response:

Buenos dias clase. Hoy voy a hablar sobre lugares pueden visitar durante los vacaciones. Hay dos lugares que son muy populares: el mar y la montaña. Los dos tiene ventajas y desvantajas pero creo que el mar es mejor, y durante este presentación yo le diré por que. 

Empezar con el mar, el mejor parte del mar es la playa. Durante dias cuando hay sol, la playa puede ser divertida y muy bonita. Cuando estuve joven, iba a la playa todos los vacaciones de verano y todo la famillia lo se gustaron. Pero, en días cuando hay no sol, el agua es muy frío y el mar es feo. Que es una desvantaja.

En cambio, las montañas que tiene muchas arboles son bonita durante sol o lluvia. Se puede visitar todo el tiempo y la se gustaran. Sin embargo, no hay mucho hacer y muy rapído las montañas no son divertio.

Teniendo en cuenta la belleza de las montañas, en mi opinion, el mar es todavía el mejor lugar para ir por las vacaciones. A la vez es bonito y divertido y toda la familia puede ir.

Did I do okay?

Me parece que un terramoto perteneca también a geografía, por lo tanto pongo esta historia aquí.

Estos dias/recientemente dos eventos me impresionaron especialmente y me puse conmovida recordando los imagenes.
Se trata sobre el terramoto en Turkya a dónde todavía los rescates siguen occuriendo.
He visto que un padre desesperado estaba buscando a su hija, que estaba cavado
bajo un edificio; él mismo pasó la noche fría muy cerca de lugar para que no debía perder en caso su hija de 19 años estaria poder rescata.
Vi su cara llena de tristeza y llorando descorazonadamente, cuando los rescadores le contaron la noticia mala, que sus intentos fueron demasiado tarde.

Otro evento es que cuando un teniente desesperado del ejercíto de Turkya conducía con prisa al lugar a dónde su novia fue victima del terramoto.
Tambien ella estaba cavada bajo los escombros.
Lucho sin armas y cavó ante el tiempo, continuamente durante 18 horas en las piedras junto a los rescatadores profesionales.
Esta historia terminó afortudanamente feliz, es que su novia sobrevivió el terramoto, gracias a la velocidad del rescate y además sus consejos y asesorias dónde su novia podería encontrarse.

When I was a young boy I went to Chile on Holidays, it's a special country next to us, I'm from Argentina.

Well, Think of a small beatiful country, that is Chile. It is full of mountains, rocks and very much snow, in the winter of course; if you want to enjoy snow go in winter, you can go to the Cristo Redentor, in the frontier of the country. And you can see the sights of the Aconcagua mountain, it's very interesting to see its very clear snow on the top, you can see it from the route that join the two countries.

A interesting sight when you go by route is the CARACOL route, a way which have shape of CARACOL while you goes down to the first villages of the country, but it's very dangerous when you go by bus, specially if you are sit at the front of the bus(in the first seats), so if you can, sit very still on the bottom of bus instead at front, you'll be fine.

In that journey we spent a couple of weeks there, really, we spent three weeks but I like using the phrase: "a couple of weeks" it's very cool in my class. I went with my mother and father, and my sister, we went by car a model 405 PEUGEOT, it was a French car.

When you arrive to the first villages, one of them is CONCON, it's a small town beside the hills, there are fews hotels there but you will find very beatiful and small houses to rent, it's a country very cheap. I advise that you must to visit the Viña del Mar city, it's wonderful to swim in her warm waters, but if your desire is visit a city for the night life go there, if not stay in Concon. it's very difficult to find a place on the beach of Viña because is a city very crowded, with the hotels is the same.

Yo vivo en el estado de Tennessee en Los EEUU. La geografìa de mi estado es muy diverso. La bandera de Tennessee tiene tres estrellas. Cada estrella representa los tres regiones distincos. Hay el oeste, la medio, y el este de Tennessee.

En el oeste, La tierra es muy plano. Este region està muy circa el rìo Mississippi. El suelo es muy rico y la agricultura es muy importante allà. Maìz, frijoles, y trigo son los cultivos màs importantes.

El medio de Tennessee no es plano, pero no es montañanoso tampoco. Hay muchas colinas. Hay màs bosques en està region que en el oeste. La agricultura es importante, pero no es tan importante como el oeste. El suelo tiene mas rocas porque hay un base de caliza en todas partes. Yo vivo en el medio, pero mi region favorita es el este.

El este tiene las montañas. Ellos son magnificos. Hay un parque grandisimo se llama The Great Smoky Mountain National Park allà.  La palabra "Smoky" es como "ahumado" en inglès. Se recibe este nombre porque las nubes sobre las montañas parecen que humo. El bosque es muy espetacular, tambìen. Cada año, mi esposa y yo llevamos los niños para ir de camping. Ellos les gusta mucho.

I think Spain is the one of the most mountainous countries in Europe. The mountain ranges are located all around the country (North, South, East and West). But we have also many kilometers of coast. Since Spain is a peninsula. On the other hand, we have some deserts or desert areas, one of them is in the north (a place named Los Monegros next to the city of Pamplona) and other is in the southeast in the province of Almería. As far as I know, it is filmed many American western films there.

Mexico has a lot of distinct and amazing landscapes that people can anjoy all over. While the most of the northern area is formed by desertic and flat praire, the center is an extense highland with montanious peaks of till over 2,000 Kms. high. This is a great contrast with the southern area which is plagued of plenty of dense vegetation wherever you go. Likewise, the behavior of the people varies dependig the place you're visiting, cause it isn't the same by well known reasons. People from the north area pretty straight to say things, while the center or southern folk is quite reserved, by giving the impression they are distrustful or something like that.     

 Hi i am from mexico i belive that my country is very rich in geography, the most amazing places they find them in the center, or in the southest in particular in chiapas the "cañon del sumidero"  is one of the most natural beautys in my country. In mi city (leon gto) there is a lot of industries and bussines center relates to footwear, here is the "footwear capital" this is the most distinguishable thing of my city.

Creo que mi pais demuestra casi todos los tipos de la geographia. Hay montañas grandes, y hay desierto hay el mar. A mi me gusta como haya tanta variedad. Algunos estados son puros llanos, y otros tiene lo de todo. Es muy interestante cuando viajes por todo el pais de una costa al otro y puedas ver la diferencia entre los estados. La geographia que me gusta más son las montañas porque son ton hermosas. Aún hay diferentes tipos de montañas. Por ejemplo en el este del pais, hay los "smoky mountains" que tienen muchos arboles y son un poco más bajos que las grandes montañas de los Rockies. Los rockies son muy grande y muchas veces tienen nieve en sus picos, tambien tienen las glaciares.

Vivo en Nueva Jersey en los Estados Unidos cerca de Nueva York.  Neuva Jersey es un estado pequeño, pero tiene muchos diferente tipos de la geografia.  En norteoeste Nueva Jersey donde vivo hay muchas colinas. Nueva Jersey también tiene muchas playas cerca del Océano  Atlántico.

Donde vivo, la tierra no es muy montanoso. Pero cambia mucho en los areas diferentes. Por ejemplo, es muy montanoso en el oeste.
