 Tocante al tema del calentamiento global, en primer lugar habría que investigar el porqué del flujo tan súbito que se ha visto últimamente. No obstante, creo que no cabría destacar algo tan amplio y controvertido como el efecto envernal, debido al hecho que este foro es, al fin y al cabo, una forma de aprender a expresar y reflejar sobre cualquier tema en una segunda lengua. 

Por lo que a mí me atañe, la manera de superar el calentamiento global estriba en lo que los humanos podemos hacer día de día. Es decir, todas las grandes campañas publicitarias que se han visto salir en los últimos días/meses/años no servirán para más que concienciar a la gente de una forma temporal. Si realmente se quiere superar un problema de la envargadura que lleva el calentamiento global, habrán que verse consecuencias reales que en alguna medida cambien el estilo de vida que acostumbramos vivir. No es que quiera que algo grave le suceda al mundo, sino que se produzca algo que le abra los ojos a la gente acostumbrada a una vida llena de lujos y  que caigan en la cuenta de que no podemos seguir utilizando combustibles tales como el carbón, el petróleo ineficiente, y que no hay que dar por sentido ni siquiera los servicios públicos como los servicios de electricidad y agua. 

En cuanto a mí, pretendo hacer todo lo posible para que la cantidad de energia que uso sea cada vez menos. No se puede hacer nada más que atender lo suyo y ser consciente de los efectos de sus acciones. 

Me doy cuenta de que me he desviado un poquitín del tema, es sólo que me parecía adecuado subrayar lo que era mi postura con respecto al tema del calentamiento global mismo. 

Se agradece cualquier correción que vean. 

 A mí es muy importante a ayudar la planeta para que nuestros hijos puedan vivir en un lugar seguro sin problemas con el ambiente.  En mi familia, no compramos botellas de agua sino que bebemos aqua de grifo porque el plástico afecta el ambiente y se queda en los rellenos sanitarios porque la mayoria de la gente no las recita.  

También estoy empezando a comprar productos de limpiar que son naturales sin químicas malas para el ambiente.  En mi ciudad, no es fácil a ir por autobus o de moda más mejor para el ambiente.  Conduzco mucho y uso mucha gasolina y quiero buscar otro modo.

Pienso que el cosa que puede afectar el ambiente en una manera positiva es enseñar la gente en como puede cambiar sus vidas para ayudar el ambiente.

 I don't have much knowledge about it, but the truth is we have a huge problem with energies. If everybody in everywhere had the same necessities , it wouldn't be energy enough for everyone. According to the experts, developed countries consume so much energy that it's unsustainable. Oil is one of the most polluting energy sources. Moreover it's the principal cause of wars. Countries which have oil are powerful and countries which don't have are depending by them. 

It is known that there are clean energies, like solar energy or win energy, but they aren't enough to provide all necessities. Another option would be nuclear energy, but in case of accident it would be environmental disaster, as Japan has just suffered it. Maybe governments should spend their budget to improve clean energies instead of wasting so much money in defense departments. 

Needless to say, the whole population of the world is facing the consequences of global warming and climate change. Up to varying extents, people from different countries and continents suffer the "rage of nature". So, shouldn't we be asking ourselves what we have been doing to our environment? Then, shouldn't we be learning from those past experiences and trying to change our behaviour? I wonder, are we doing at least part of all this? Are we in the right track in our attempt to protect the only place we have to live?

Global warming, greenhouse effect, natural disasters and catastrophes, all these words sound familiar to us nowadays. I see a risk in that, a risk associated with us getting used to this situations and not caring much about them. When the problem is not directly affecting us, it's difficult to get really involved and contribute to a change.

On the other hand, I'm also concious of the enormous efforts that many governements, private groups and organizations are making to revert this situation. Changing customs and lifestyles are among the most important to reduce overproduction of garbage and waste of precious resources, like water or electric energy. To this respect, rich countries must have a compromise to ensure that their inhabitants don't overuse these resources. Having them available and affordable does not have to be an incentive that leads to wastage. As for poor nations, they must struggle to avoid relying on old-fashioned and polluting ways of producing energy, and try to incorporate new environment-friendly ones. Logically, both these premises represent strong challenges. However, we cannot think of easy ways to solve global problems. Our current effort might render its results well beyond our lifespan. Anyhow, I believe that our plans must focus on future generations; any real sustainability project not only includes them, but aims for them.

It's really inspiring to see many societies around the planet seriously compromised with this issue. People are realizing that the problem is urgent, and there are contributions of varied kinds. Cooperation, respect and determination must be three basic values that move us to collectively achieve our objectives.

Overall, I think that we are still halfway in our process to become social, political and spiritually concious of the problem that global warming represents. There is a mixture of points of view and interests that lead to confused actions. We have the ability to change the way we live to preserve our planet. Selfishness and greed must be taken aside; solidarity and brotherhood can only make us reach our goals.

So, here we are in our way to save the planet from our own actions. Only time will say if we are capable enough to do it or not.

Green technologies are really important nowaday. Finding an alternative to the petroleum is an important issue for the scientists.

However we can help. There are a lot of organic farmers, we can help them buying our vegetables to them.

We can use public transports, and a lot of green-alternatives.

But I think the goverments need to be serious in this point, because I can save water at home so goverments can keep a  wholly river.

Of course, the best way to combat the global warning consists on saving energy at home by ourselves. The addition of the efforts of everybody should be enough to  reduce our huge energetical needs. After that, goverments should enhance new technologies based on renewable sources, such as wind power, sunlight power and atomic fusion power. This last one will be one of the most important discoveries in this century, due to its extraordinary potentiality and for being a source respectable with the environment.

I think everybody must save energy, there are many advertisements with neon light or dazzling light, if all the people turn off the lights for one hour once a month, we would help with our planet.

 I think we need to prevent the enviroment doing little things all days. We can change all the lights bulbs, turn down the heat at night, recicling. However, we can't change other things. For instance, why the  electric car is still under construccion? maybe, government interests. Moreover, the solar energy could be used in more new buildings or street lighting.

well in my opinion the situation that is happen in the golfo de Mexico is really sad because many creatures is gone die and that problem will be difficult to solve it, for other hand in Costa Rica We try to keep the nature more clean than the pass because our children deserves to planet more green.
