Yikes! Today's topic is a pretty scary one. Currently 9 countries around the world have nuclear weapons, and many others are trying to acquire them. Do you feel threatened by the prospect of nuclear proliferation? What do you think should be done to eliminate the threat of nuclear weapons being used?
The topic of legalizing drugs is very controversial. Many people think that legalizing drugs will reduce the crime associated with the production and distribution of drugs. They also argue that legalizing drugs would allow governments to tax their production and sale, which could fund addiction programs and other government services.
Those who argue against the legalization of drugs belief that it would cause a dramatic increase in the rate of drug addiction, and that it would also result in an increase in crime.
What do you think? Should drugs be legal? Would you only legalize some drugs, or would you legalize all drugs? Why?
